- Handrail
- Ladder
- cover bag (large green mesh)
- pool cleaner "Polaris or robot"

- skimmer and pump baskets

Tips to get your pool ready for use after your pool open
- Start up chemical have been added to your pool (shock, algaecide, and metal remover)
- Heater has been tested
- Water has been tested. We will make chemical corrections to Ph and alkalinity in the event they are severely low.
- Pool cleaner has been tested.
- Continue to run the circulation system 24 hours a day
- Continue to check pump and skimmer baskets every few hours to remove winter debris.
- We recommend not running the Polaris if the water is very cloudy or green.
- Allow chemicals and filtration to settle debris to bottom then manually vacuum pool.
- Test water in 24 hours and adjust if necessary
- Typically alkalinity and ph will be low adjust alkalinity first then ph
- Please remember that low ph is corrosive and can damage pool components
- Keep chlorine levels higher than normal for the first week to help clear and sanitize the water. We recommend 3-5 ppm of chlorine. To keep this high reading you may have to shock the pool and or adjust the dial on the back of the chlorinator to a higher setting.
- After one week you may resume your normal chlorine levels
- Solar blankets should remain off until water is clear and chemically balanced
If you have any other questions please feel free to contact us.
Salt water Pools Notes:
Allow system to run 48 hours before adding salt.
2800-3200ppm is ideal
Keep in mind water temp must be at least 50 degrees for cell to turn on
Salt pools typically have a high ph. Keep between 7.2-7.6
Adjust chlorine output based on weather and bather use
(ie chlorine output will need to be higher in summer months and lower in spring and fall)
If your pool is equipped with and automatic cover, open the cover at least once a week for a few hours on a sunny day to let chlorine gas off.
